With my eye for detail and passion for storytelling, I create images that capture the essence of the natural world and showcase its incredible diversity. Whether it's a close-up of a flower, a sweeping landscape, or a fleeting moment in time, I aim to create photographs that remind us of the power and beauty of the world we inhabit. With my travel photography, I like to challenge myself to create somewhat timeless images - pictures that could have been made decades ago or last week.

I draw inspiration from my surroundings, seeking out the unique details and perspectives that make each location special. Through my photographs, I hope to not only provide a sense of healing and connection to nature but also to encourage others to take a closer look at the world around them and find beauty in unexpected places. My goals are to find ways to use my work in the areas of conservation and rewilding as well as getting my nature photography into places where people don’t have much chance to connect with the natural world - transport hubs, office and hospital buildings, care homes and prisons.

In addition to my personal photography projects, I also volunteer my time to take photographs for an international Buddhist organization dedicated to promoting peace, culture, and education  (of which I am also a member). Through my work with the organization, I have had the privilege of capturing countless moments of victory, inspiration, and human connection among its members. The photographs I have taken have been published in articles, magazines, and newspapers of the organization not only in the US but also around the world.

Using my challenges with chronic pain and PTSD in a more valuable way, I transform my experiences into a source of strength and connection. Instead of letting these conditions define me, I have chosen to embrace them as catalysts for personal growth and empathy. Through my journey, I have discovered that my pain serves as a unique lens through which I connect more deeply with nature. It has heightened my senses, allowing me to perceive the subtlest details and experience the world in a profound way. I have found solace and inspiration in the natural world, recognizing its ability to heal and nurture.
